Home Theater Recliners and Loungers
53OK so you have decided to do some upgrades to the interior of your home.
You and the wife or you and the hubby what ever it may be have been discussing the different options and goodies that you may want to consider for the new and improved nest egg you are building.
There's paint sample cards as well as carpet and hardwood samples everywhere the place is a friggen mess and you can't agree on anything so the stressometer is definitely starting to skyrocket.
Well I'm here not to releave that stress, but to make it even worse. Ha Ha.
But just temporarily.
After all the walls have been decorated to your personal taste and your choice of flooring has been laid the last thing you need to do is put some furniture in that big old living room of yours.
Oh yippie furniture something else we can fight over I hear you say.
But hey settle down tiger is doesn't have to be that way.
Because there is always something out there for everyone and today I want to bring to your attention somethings that may be a good option for your home and that is home theater furniture.
Now lets tackle a common misconception right off the bat shall we. Home theater furniture is not just for the man in the house or just for a designated home theater room for that matter, as the name may imply.
But they are designed to be used by anyone in any room and the main reason I'm mouthing off about them today is that you may be very surprised at some of the features that are offered by some of the different manufacturers like Berkline, Palliser, Bass just to name a few of the many that are out there.
Typically when people invest in new home furnishings they jump into the car and shoot down to the nearest big box furniture store and sit in every chair until their heart is content.
We are all guilty of that, even me.
But tell me how many of those recliners thet you tested have the following features-
- A silent subwoofer that is installed in the chair lets you feel the effects of the movie with out the extra sound.
- A feature called wallaway lets the recliner be positioned right up against the wall so when you recline it, it will automatically move away from the wall without touching it.
- Power Recline is a common feature found on all home theater recliners, this uses a silent electric motor that lets you recline to any position at the touch of a button.
- Some brands even have a total body massage system available, which lets you choose from either 2 or 6 motor massage options that can be programmed or operated manually. A heated section for the lower back is also optional.
- Cup holders are provided in every armrest.
- Available in leather and micorfiber
- And finally one of my favorite options would have to be lighted cup holders and soft glowing ambient base lighting for added movie theater effect (is that cool or what?).
Now I know what your saying "I don't need all these extras".
Hey let me just say one thing here folks, it's not about the need it's all about the want.
Am I right or am I right?
If it was all about the need then you wouldn't be upgrading in the first place. Would you now?
Another option for your consideration (if you are intent on getting something unique for the man in your life) would be "Custom Sports Recliners".
Yes thats right you can get these babies in all the major teams colors and logos MLB, NBA, NFL , Nascar and even some College teams.
They also come in sets with a Bid Daddy Recliner, Classic Sofa, Cube Ottoman, Kids Recliner, A Pub Sofa, Video game chair so there is something for everyone.
So before you head to that "Ikea Store" down the road in search of something different consider what has been brought to your attention today.
Maybe just maybe you'll find your way to home theater heaven.
I'll see you there.
